Selling to an OEM’s Authorized Purchasing Agent
Implementation licensees are allowed to sell ICs to a Dolby Licensee’s (OEMs) authorized purchasing agent.
Apply for 3rd parties on the Dolby Licensee Community (DLC) “Approval Requests” Tab
System licensees must first gain approval from Dolby to use such third-parties. Once approved, the OEM will deliver to the implementation partner, a purchasing agent approval letter which authorizes such sales.
Work hand-in-hand with OEM
Provide Sample or Production Quantities as listed on the SQR.
